AUDITIONS

Auditions require an application and recorded audition. Interested musicians can initiate the audition process by contacting the Personnel Manager at Info@Wilmingtonsymphonicwinds.org or by filling out the online application form linked below.

Audition Requirements

• 2 prepared etudes or solos of contrasting style at about 3 minutes each

• 2 octave scales through 5 sharps and 5 flats. (C, F, Bb, Eb, Ab, Db, G, D, A, E, B) Sixteenth notes, at quarter note = 60

• 1 full chromatic scale, also in sixteenth notes, at quarter note = 60
